Happy Thursday! We are TWENTY DAYS away from the official launch of MINDSURGE, the final book in the Mindspeak trilogy, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m putting final touches on the manuscript this week: typo corrections, formatting, a note from me at the end, acknowledgements, etc.

So, why am I talking about characters for a fourth novel when I’ve clearly stated that Mindsurge is the end of the trilogy? Because I love you guys, of course! And because I have another story speaking to me. As described in THIS POST, this novel is a standalone and is Kyle’s story, told from his point of view. Though it is part of the Mindspeak world, it is separate from Lexi’s trilogy.

If you were on my Facebook yesterday you already know that I’m hard at work on this story, and I’d like to include you guys in the development of some of the details of this story without giving away too much of the plot. (See Pinterest Board below.)

First up? We must decide who the leading lady will be. Thank you to everyone who stopped by Facebook and offered ideas for her name.

In case you missed it, here is the description I offered: She is from California. A nineteen- or twenty-year-old soccer player from Stanford University. She’s into Pilates and meditation. Her parents are college professors, humanitarians, world travelers, and somewhat of free spirits. I thought she was a blond haired, blue eyed beauty, but now I’m torn between blond hair or black hair. (See Pinterest board below).

I started the Pinterest story board to brainstorm and give you teasers about what’s to come. You’ll find two options for this main character, and I would love to hear your opinions as to which character and what to name her. You can leave comments here, on the Pinterest board, or on my Facebook wall. CLICK HERE TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE.

Option One: Blond hair, blue eyes, named Zoey or Elle?

Option Two: Black hair, blue eyes, named Zoey or Raven?
